What happens at school?
When you start a new school or get some new teachers they will want to know about your bleeding disorder, what you can do, and what they should do in an emergency.
What can I tell them?
Why not contact us? We can send you leaflets and books to give to your teachers, and even a presentation that explains it all to them. The more they understand, the more likely it is you'll be treated the same as everyone else at school and go on all the same trips and outings.
Why not do a short talk for your teachers and classmates to tell them all about your special blood?
Raise some money!
You could even combine telling everyone about your bleeding disorder with raising some funds for the Society. There are lots of fundraising ideas that can help you raise funds for everyone affected by bleeding disorders and have a great time doing it. Just get in touch to find out more.
Remember, to do anything in school you must have the permission of your teacher.
If they have any questions please ask them to get in touch with the Haemophilia Society.
