The day was held to provide young people with haemophilia and their families the opportunity to learn more about living with haemophilia in a fun and interactive way. And at the same time for them to have the opportunity to get together with other families and share experiences.

Held at the famous Newcastle United football ground, the day was designed to give peoplemore information, answer questions and enable them to be well prepared for the challenges they might face.
Consultants and medical experts explained how they should look after their joints properly, ran through practice sessions on infusing, and showed parents how to administer first aid, should the need arise.
The day concluded with a tour of the stadium.
