Awards

An award for you

We know that lots of you who are affected by a bleeding disorder don’t let this get in the way of trying hard and doing well at sports or arts. Every year the Society gives some of you a prize and day out in London for trying hard at the things you love.

The Haemophilia Society Sports Award

Who can apply? Anybody who has a bleeding disorder. If you are 12 or under you can apply for the Junior Award. If you are 13 and over you can apply for the Senior Award.

What is it for? This award is for anybody with a bleeding disorder who tries hard at any sport.

What do you win? The winners will get a great prize of sports vouchers and a cool day out in London. This year we went to Chelsea Football grounds for a tour of the stadium and lunch.

The Philip Morris Award

Who can apply? Anybody who has a bleeding disorder or is a carrier.

What is it for? The award is for anybody who is studying or trying hard at music, drama or another art.

What do you win? The 1 winner will get a cheque for up to £400 and an awards ceremony in London.

How do I apply?

The winners get a great day out in London which is really good fun.

If you'd like to be nominated for next year (2008 awards), look out for the forms or send us an email through this site. You should get your parent or carer, or maybe someone at your haemophilia centre to help you with the form.
